Dad brings home the wrong dog from doggy daycare

Imagine entrusting someone to pick your dog up from daycare and then realising they took the wrong pup.
That was the hilariously horrifying reality for this dog owner.
Leigh Terrell took to TikTok to share a text message exchange between her and her dad, posting the moment she realised her dog had been left behind at the daycare.

“This is what happens when you let a man pick up your dog from daycare,” the post was captioned.
Terrell’s dad sent a picture of the dog he’d collected, to which she replied: “Let me see his face haha that doesn’t look like him.”

The dog owner then followed up by joking, “Make sure you got the right dog,” with no idea she had just predicted what had happened.
Sending another photo of the dog, the father wrote, “His collar [is] on,” before Terrell realised the funny mistake.
It appeared both dad and the daycare had mixed up two dogs, with Terrell quickly replying: “That’s not my dog dad. That is not Archie, you need to go back and switch him out.”
Terrell was on a call when she texted her dad, but she messaged again to ask to switch the wrong dog out with Archie.

The father then replied with a photo of Archie, to which Terrell replied: “Alright that’s my dog thanks.”
The video detailing the events has since gone viral, amassing a whopping 3.8 million views as viewers were sent into a frenzy in the comment section.
“The way the first dog is looking out the window for his real dad, too,” one user wrote.
Another joked: “I’m imagining the first dog thinking ‘my name is NOT Archie’ as your dad tries to get his attention for a pic lmao.”
